BCCA is pleased to announce BC’s first COVID-19 vaccine “fast lane” for construction workers, in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health.
Starting next week, any workers in our industry can just show up at these clinics on designated dates and times to get their first dose:
The Italian Cultural Center (Vancouver)
The Christine Sinclair Community Centre – formerly Fortius (Burnaby)
Abbotsford Ag-Rec
DATES:
JUNE 30
JULY 8, 9
TIMES:
1:30 – 4:30 PM
No pre-registration is needed.
Government ID or a Provincial Health Number is not necessary, but bringing it will speed up the vaccination experience.
The BCCA has partnered with the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA), BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA), BCCA Employee Benefits Trust (EBT) and the Council of Construction Associations (COCA) to get the word out about the fast-track clinics.
The locations for this pilot were selected by the VRCA for their proximity to a high density of workers and work sites.
We encourage all employers in the vicinity to support their workers in taking advantage of this opportunity to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
BCCA and the Provincial Health Office are in talks to launch more fast-track clinics across the province. If there’s a good turnout for the Vancouver locations that will be a big help, so if you need your first dose now’s the time to go out there and get it! Protect yourself, your family, and your site.

Help spread the word, not the virus.
