BuildStrong by CIRP ( Formerly the Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan ) has a free app that is available for all in construction regardless of their union affiliation. Here is link to a video describing the BuildStrong App.
The app provides construction workers with on-demand access to mental health and substance use support, giving them the power to prioritize their well-being and take control of their mental health.
The app also includes a range of resources, including tools and techniques for managing stress and anxiety, tips for overcoming substance use challenges, and information about available support services.
BuildStrong by CIRP is funded by the Ministry of Health. Please distribute the info on the app to your respective members and promote as much as you can. We would like to continue to provide this service to all of construction, so your help is vital! There are over 200,000 construction and trades workers in BC. Our goal is to help all of them.
