Trenching work for the installation of six 3-inch ducts was being done adjacent to a electrical power pole. Shortly after trenching to the pole was completed, the pole began to lean towards a nearby home. The pole came to rest at about 45 degrees, held up by the power lines.

A conventional tower crane dropped off a gang panel in the northwest area of a construction site, then slewed towards the northeast end of the site to pick up a load of plywood. In the process, the tower crane collided with the boom of a 120-tonne mobile crane that was occupying the same air space and was set up on an adjacent worksite.
