In light of the provincial election, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors has decided to postpone the upcoming public hearings on the proposed changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations scheduled for September 30, 2020.
The new date and times as well as the new submission deadline will be provided when the information is available.
Please submit written feedback for this part of the consultation process on the WorkSafeBC site, particularly with respect to Part 8, Safety Headgear. Previous feedback does not carry forward.
It is critical that our voice is heard and our workers go home safe!
