Gabriola Island RCMP said a boom from a concrete pump-truck broke and landed on two workers at the construction site on Taylor Road. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two workers are dead after an accident on a construction site on Gabriola Island on Tuesday.
The B.C. Coroners Service has confirmed it was called to the island Tuesday morning. A spokesperson for the service would only say “as we are early in our investigation to determine the facts, we are unable to provide any additional information.”
