Video – Dealing with the use of Recreational Cannabis in Safety-Sensitive Workplaces

Patrick Delaney of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada has advised me that PSAC has produced a video dealing with the use of recreational cannabis in safety-sensitive workplaces.

You can see it here.   You are free to use the video as you wish with the proviso that you do not remove the disclaimer at the beginning of the video or the PSAC logo.

For your information, the video features Dr. Charl Els, a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Medicine at the University of Alberta.  Dr. Els is a fellowship-trained psychiatrist and addictions specialist and he serves on the University’s Health Research Ethics Board. Dr. Els’ primary practice is in occupational psychiatry and he is the author of several publications, including a Health Canada funded textbook on tobacco control. His funded research focuses on opioids, cannabis at work, random drug testing, and psychological injury in the workplace.
