You are invited to attend WorkSafeBC’s rate information sessions
Join other B.C. employers in learning about WorkSafeBC’s preliminary assessment rates for 2026, and how you can reduce your premiums through a safer and healthier workplace.
Session details
WorkSafeBC’s information sessions include a presentation followed by a live question and answer period. The topics for the session focus on:
- The financial state of the workers’ compensation system
- Rate and classification changes,
- How you, as an employer, can influence your rates through improved health and safety practices
Register
This year WorkSafeBC will be holding one in-person information session at their Richmond office and three virtual sessions. Space is limited for the in-person session, so early registration is recommended. Registration will be closed when we reach capacity.
The sessions are scheduled for the following dates:
- In-person session – Tuesday, July 15, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Pacific time
- Virtual sessions
- Wednesday, July 16, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Pacific time
- Wednesday, July 16, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Pacific time
- Thursday, July 17, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Pacific time

After you register
WorkSafeBC will send registered attendees a reminder about one week before the date of your selected session.
In-person session
WorkSafeBC will provide instructions about attending this event at the Richmond office location the week prior to the session taking place.
Virtual sessions
WorkSafeBC will send a link to your selected virtual session the week prior to the session taking place.
