The consultation feedback informed changes to the policy revisions, which were presented to the Board of Directors for decision. Please click here for a summary of key changes made to the policy revisions since public consultation.
On November 14, 2025, the Board of Directors revised policies in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II concerning mental disorder claims under section 135 of the Workers Compensation Act. The policy revisions:
- change the definition of significant work-related stressor
- provide guidance on the limits of the labour relations exclusion.
The revised policies apply to all decisions, including appellate decisions, made on or after March 2, 2026.
