WorkSafeBC Announcement – New Head of Prevention Services

As you may know, we have been recruiting for a new head of Prevention Services, a role that is critical to our continued success in engaging workers and employers to promote workplace health and safety.

I am pleased to announce that Todd McDonald will be taking on this role as of December 12. Todd has been a member of our executive team for many years, most recently in the role of chief planning officer.

In previous senior leadership positions in Prevention and as vice president of Claims, Todd was committed to building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with our stakeholders. His broad understanding of our operating context positions him well to further collaborations between Prevention and Claims. I’m confident Todd will provide strong leadership focused on our strategic priorities, especially the prevention of workplace injury, disease, and death through effective engagement with our stakeholders.

Todd will be reaching out to meet with stakeholder groups in the new year.

With thanks,
