We were sad to learn today of the devasting news for Rieghardt van Enter’s family and the loss of their family home in a fire on Friday, June 25th in Langley. The family is all safe and were all able to get out of their house but only with the clothes on their backs.
Rieghardt & his wife, Andrea, have 4 children – daughter (4 yrs), son (10 yrs), daughter (12 yrs) and daughter (17 yrs). Their eldest has mobility issues and they are working with insurance to replace her wheelchair and mobility assistance items.
A ‘Go Fund Me’ page has been set-up through one of their supporting family members: https://www.gofundme.com/f/van-enters-house-fire-support
Rieghardt and his family are currently in temporary shelter at the local Sandman while they work on finding a longer-term solution.
If anyone would like to support & donate any household items or clothing/toys/electronics for the kids, please feel to drop off at the main BDHall office marked attn: Rieghardt and they will ensure that these items are available to him to collect when ready.
Thank you all for your kindness & support of one of our long time COCA members!
