Consultation on Proposed Policy and Public Hearing on Regulation Changes Regarding Employer Incident Investigations

The Board of Directors approved the release for consultation of proposed new policies and public hearings regarding proposed regulation changes below, as set out in a discussion paper:

  1. Policy D10-175-1 – Preliminary Incident Investigation Report and Follow-up Action
  2. Policy D10-176-1 – Full Incident Investigation Report and Follow-up Action
  3. Deletion of Section 3.4 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation
  4. Changes to Section 24.34 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation

Public hearings regarding the regulation changes will be held in the fall. The specific locations and dates of the public hearings will be announced on WorkSafeBC.com. Feedback on the proposed regulation changes can be provided at the public hearings or as set out below.
