WorkSafeBC is making revisions to the Occupational First Aid program, effective July 1, 2017.
First Aid training will now be done every 2 years instead of 3 – resulting in increased costs to employers. It appears employers were not contacted for feedback.

Please make WorkSafeBC aware of your concerns. WorkSafeBC is soliciting your feedback and consultation will be open from October 11th, 2016 until January 31st, 2017. Through consultation WorkSafeBC is hoping to ensure minimal disruption to training providers, workers, and employers as we transition to the new program(s).
