The LNG Canada Trades Training Fund helps cover the costs of Foundation or Apprenticeship training for an employee interested in developing their skills in high demand trades.
Applications to the Trades Training Fund can be made by employers only (For construction companies with 20 employees or less) on behalf of their apprentices and must be received one month prior to the month the classes start.

- Instrument Technician
- Pipefitter
- Millwright
- Power Engineering
- Water treatment
- Marine Master
Available to applicants in Northern BC only:
- Electrician
- Instrument Technician
- Pipefitter
- Millwright
- Power Engineering
- Water treatment
- Marine Master
- Scaffolder
- Rope access
- Heavy equipment operator
- Driver
- Labourer
- Welder
- Machinist
- HVAC Technician
- Painter
- Insulation Technician
- Warehouse Technician
Non-Trades Available to Applicants in Northern BC Only:
- Document controller
- Administrative Assistant
- Food Caterer
Employers can make funding requests for the following types of industry training:
- Apprenticeship training
- Foundation training
- Specialized, technical, and managerial training
